Challenge 1
Section A is made up of two phrases that are altered slightly. How many phrases are there altogether in section A? Look at the first phrase and the last phrase, how are they different?
Bring this knowledge to rehearsal next week and show/tell Pip.
Challenge 2
Grab a phone (or an iPad or some kind of recording device) and a bluetooth speaker. Apple phones have a “voice memo” app that works really well for this.
Record yourself playing section A. Listen to your recording and make sure your minims are two beats and crotchets are one beat. Can you sing it too?
Play along with the audio of section A. You will hear six dings then start to play.
Challenge 3
Record yourself playing along with the audio of Section B. Listen to your recording. Have you perfected the rhythm? Is your intonation accurate?
